Increase Your Value | Be a Connector
This month's networking tip will help you stay top-of-mind with your clients and contacts by becoming the resource that connects them to quality professionals they need. Dr. Ivan Misner, BNI's Founder and Chief Visionary Officer shares this technique which will help you bring more referrals to your fellow chapter members.
Download and use the template to create an email or physical letter to your clients and contacts. Be sure to use a mail merge system to personalize the emails to each contact for increased results. Send three to four times a year. At least once a year, consider a physical mailing to stand out from the sea of emails.
Attach a list of the professions you can help connect them with either as a PDF file to the email or as a second sheet to your mailed letter. Dr. Misner highlights DO NOT include direct contact information, just the professions, to make sure people come to you first and allow you to make the connection. This will make you a connector and keep you top-of-mind.

The contest will run for 2 months from Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 14. Sponsors of new members submitting applications within these dates will be eligibile for the contest.
