Message from the Executive Director

This month, Kip Kint, Executive Director of BNI Utah South welcomes you to our new member newsletter and announces a summer contest while inviting you to "Don't Wait to be Great."

Bring Visitors | Easy as 1-2-3

Now is the time to invest in your referral network. Bringing Visitors to your weekly chapter meetings helps your chapter referral partners, the person you invite, and ultimately yourself to deepen and strengthen your network. A small investment now can pay huge dividends. Here are three steps to not just INVITING but to BRINGING Visitors.

Identify

Use the Contact Sphere Worksheet to identify open classifications in your chapter. Use Prospect List Worksheet to write names of business professionals you know in those open classifications. Remember to "Follow Your Money" and the F.R.O.G.S.

Invite

Using your Prospect List, Visitor Invitation Email Template, and Visit Information Handout PDF, email invitations to visit to those on your prospect list. Use the email template to personalize an invitation email to each prospect. Be sure to attach the information handout PDF.

Follow-up

The fortune truly is in the follow-up. This is the step most often forgotten. After you email the invitation, make a phone call. The email invitation is the excuse to call (see phone script ideas in resources). If they accept your invitation, ask to register them and then register them using the BNI Connect Mobile App. Be sure to make one more follow-up call the afternoon before to make sure they know how to make the visit and let them know how excited others are to meet them.

Summer Contest Information

Sponsor Members to Win

The contest will run for 2 months from Monday, June 15 through Friday, August 14. Sponsors of new members submitting applications within these dates will be eligibile for the contest.

Prizes include a $500 cash prize to top sponsor. All other members sponsoring at least one new member will receive an entry for each eligible sponsorship in a drawing for eight Amazon.com gift cards (values of $25 to $200). Drawing and winners to be announced the first week of September.
